Hey Sparkling Attitude, great to meet you! What's happening in your world at the minute?

Hey Dream Chimney! It's a big pleasure to be here talking with you! So, nowadays the 'Sparkling Attitude' world it's Disco / Nu-Disco Music oriented as from the beginning but always careful, on live dj sets for example, to please the audience with a coherent but at the same time colorful sound for every kind of situation we propose.

Congratulations on releasing ‘Amare Moto (Sparkling Attitude Edit)'. Talk to us through Edit, what was it that inspired you to flip that particular track…

‘Amare Moto' is a summery, sunny, in some ways tropical song, once we found the right loop we never get tired of it, maybe that was the desire to make an edit of that rare Brazilian 80’s tune. The funny thing is in the title because in Italian seems that the vocalist says ‘Amare Moto’ which in Italian means ‘Love Motorbikes’ 🇮🇹

How did the link up with the Manzo Edits label come about?

We have followed ‘Manzo Edits’ from the beginning; we think they have released so many good edits and music on the label.

We already had vinyls and played in our dj sets and we thought it was the right label to submit our ‘Amare Moto (Edit)’.

Where are you based now, and how does your environment shape your relationship with music?

We live between Emilia (Modena) and Romagna (Rimini) where the influence of historic club culture has been always present.

To this day the young scene is really very niche, the old school one maintains its roots, we try to float in this -Adriatic” Sea (Mar Adriatico) but trying to also give space to the “mainstream” of research and not to exaggerate in the underground to avoid tying ourselves to situations that are too circumscribed.

Can you share some insight into your creative process when producing music? Do you have any particular rituals or methods that help you stay inspired?‍

Well, it’s hard to explain why a track was born. We usually don’t like to have rituals; we love listening and going where our heart takes us 😊That’s why we don’t focus on one musical genre, we think the music it’s a journey and we love to have slower and faster tracks in our discography so that we can play them in different timelines and venues.

What's been the highlight of your career so far?

We don’t know cause everyday something happens ahahah.

Discographically speaking, we have been so happy when we signed our vinyl EP for ‘Bordello A Parigi’.

About gigs we have been proud to play in the historical ‘KitKat’ of Berlin, or ‘Metropolis’ in London, ‘Villa Delle Rose’ in Riccione, ecc..

We are lucky to be part of a great team, who’s name is ‘Club Splendore’ and with that amazing party we have so many gigs upcoming in the most iconic Italian and European dance floors.

Tell us about a few of your favourite Edits?

We surely love the ‘Razor-N-Tape’ edits, we usually play them in our dj sets.

For example, we ususally play ‘Light Star (Edit)’ from ‘COEO’, because it has the right happy mood we need.

But we also like when someone edits some old and rare Italian songs, this edit by our legendary friends ‘G&D’ (Gino Grasso & Dino Angioletti) is a must have for every Italo Disco dj. The Italian language has the right flow and you can fly with the amazing vibes it has.

If you could play B2B with any DJ, who would it be and why?

Actually, the funny thing is that we would like to share the consolle with anyone.. even though we have a Disco project, we marry many musical genres and we deeply think that music should unite and not divide.

Our philosophy is to always smile and transmit good music and vibes.

When you are not busy with music, what might we find you doing?

When we are free, you can find us eating excellent fish or a super Piadina Romagnola!!!

Jokes aside, we love to share the passion we have for the music and so you can find us in vinyl shops or musical concerts. We love to get inspired by great ideas.

Finally, what do you have coming up in the next few months? Feel free to mention anything!

We are building something strong with the format 'Club Splendore', of which we are resident DJs.
