Dutch wonder duo Fouk have joined London’s Freerange Records with their debut EP on the label ‘Get It Done’. They’ve been making people dance now for a decade and their new four tracker on the much-respected imprint doesn’t disappoint! Jazzy, hazy, broken beats together with the floaty vocals. Love Kaidi's music and this one with Andrew Ashong is just amazing. The rest of the album is amazing as well.
Alexander O'Neal - If You Were Here Tonight
We are suckers for those 80's chords and sounds. Ultimate slow jam, some might find a bit cheesy, but this fills that perfect space for us.
Sasac - Pig
In that same vein as Alexander O’Neil but more modern. Listened to bits when it came out back then (2016) and still do!
Diogo Strausz feat. Brandon Markell Holmes - Gravity
Love the way Diogo makes music, this latest disco-boogie jam with Brandon Markell Holmes is no exception to his genius musicianship.
Dogger & Mindstate - broken home (calibre remix)
Something different from the other songs we picked. Liquid drums, chilled and uplifting at the same time.
Floating Points - Anasickmodular
No list like this is complete without Floating Points. The way he creates an atmosphere, the dynamics are just perfect. Just the right bit of darkness in this.
Grandmaster - Holy Star
From Austin TX, portraying themselves as an intergalactic musical cult, we just love their sound. Soul, funk, rock, jazz. it’s all in there. Seriously check them out! Shout out to Hiatt dB who tipped this amazing band.
DeBarge - I Like It
A huge classic, love the funky laid back groove!
Nathan Fake - The Sky Was Pink (Icelandic Version)
We used to listen to this so much back in the day. Love the sonic journey in this track!
