Coflo Rawb Boss aka Coflo is from the Bay Area, San Francisco. DJ, dancer, producer, he steps up again on Yoruba Records with an incredible new album entitled – Coafeelia. Under his new moniker, Coflo explores the deeper depths of his musical psyche delivering in a innovative and mesmerizing collection of tracks that will set dancefloors on fire. Here we ask him to flip the switch and take us back to his after the club. The air is filled with smoke, the mood is chill, and the drinks are flowing. This is the playlist…

Everyone Back to Mine Playlist

Slam Mode - Pacifica (Kuniyuki Takahashi Remix)

A long play sonic journey. Vibes from top to bottom, tension and release. Perfection on wax.

LaShun Pace - I Know I've Been Changed

Full of emotion…the type of tune that reaches into your soul and pulls out every: good, bad, ugly and beautiful moment over the past week. Ready to release and by the end feels like a huge relief. It's therapy in a song.

Fleetwood Mac - The Chain

The two part harmonies give me goosebumps every time. The ending crescendo gives a momentary burst of energy… a little bump to keep the flow going.

Eagles - Hotel California

Almost nothing sexier than Don Henley's vocal on this tune. Heaviest groove, masterful guitar solos. One of the most perfectly written songs of all time.

Michael McDonald - I Keep Forgettin'

Okay, if there is something sexier than Don Henley's vocals.. it’s Michael McDonald lol. Come on, this shit hits!

Herbie Hancock - Butterfly

As far as I am concerned, this might be the theme song for the Rhodes piano. Thrust is one of my favorite Herbie projects of all time.

Jaco Pastorius - Portrait of Tracy

If your chillin’ and Jaco isn’t in the mix, you’re missing a harmonic understanding of the human condition.

The Neville Brothers - Voodoo

This or Yellow Moon from the same album might be the grooviest bit of Nawlin-ean’ vibes EVERY written. Aaron Neville comes about as smooth as any singer every could on this tune.

Prince - When The Lights Go Down

One of Prince’s most underrated or never heard tunes I think he has ever done. actually don’t think this song was ever even finished, it almost sounds like he was -figuring out lyrics”. The groove and piano bits in this are oooooo sooo dam good.

Norah Jones, Robert Glasper

Let it Ride (Live). This is the beauty of the internet. This live version of them, should be on its own “unplugged” album. I love this performance so much.
