Bob the Egoist drops his ‘I’m Still The Same Person’ on Felipe Gordon’s Wide Awake Records. It’s the first solo EP by (real name) Daniel Pardo, a musician, producer, and DJ born in Colombia’s capital, Bogotá, currently based in Barcelona.
Here we ask him to take us back to his after the club for the afters. This is the playlist
Vinocio - Lastima

Delicious soulful vibe from a great emerging Argentinian band. It's a must in all my hangouts with friends – makes you feel goooood.
Horace Family – God Will Dry My Weeping Eyes

The only recording from Horace Family, cannot get more spiritual than this. The elements in this song have an unmatched flavor to them.
Prince – Gigolos Get Lonely Too

Initially recorded for Prince's backing band 'The Time' and released many years after with his voice recording. This is one of the many examples of Prince's genius, a loving song.
Don Blackman – Holding You, Loving You

Obsessed with this album! Every song is beautiful, the drum hits sound very tight in this one, world class arrangements.
DeBarge, Lord Finesse – I Like It (Soul Synopsis Mix)

An amazing rework on DeBarge's classic, there is nothing like those warm Fender Rhodes. Love it when remixes take the listener to a very different place from the original while still being good.
DJ Harrison – Late Ride

The title says it all, it has warmth and DJ Harrison’s never-ending grooves. This is one of the soundtracks of my late nights at home.
Illya Kuryaki & The Valderramas – Galaxia

Had to include one from the Argentinian grand funk masters, this is also pristine funkiness from the 90s. People should make love to this one.
Crudo Means Raw – No Te Preocupes Por Mi

This is a classic amongst my friends and I back in Colombia, proud to see Crudo represent hip-hop in my country. It’s poetic to see how one of my favorite artists from back home flipped Moodymann’s -Im Doing Fine” in the most elegant fashion possible.
J Dilla – Possible

Love everything about this song! The vocals, bass, chords, Dilla’s grooves, all of it. The feeling is so funky, so fresh. A treat from Mahogani Music!
Joe Bataan – Para Puerto Rico Voy

My favorite song from my favorite Salsa record. It is such a beauty of a song, made for every moment with friends – dancing included! This is the one true musical flavor!
