I'd moved to a different land.
There was a huge expansion of space, outside, the sun was bright and different groups of people were involved in different activities.
I wandered from one group to another and everyone seemed friendly. Then I noticed...
alone, magnificent and beautiful large golden lion watching the groups.
The lion was very significant in my dream.
He kept his distance but was watching all the time. I looked at him and we made eye contact. I felt time stop and a connection take place.
We walked a bit towards each other but I was afraid because he could eat me. He seemed to nod when I thought that...then I woke up.

Hi Allison,
The different land may represent a new phase in your life that you have entered into. The dream seems to be saying that you are encountering God in a new way. You feel drawn to Him, yet you still feel a little hesitant because you see his power and wonder if it's safe... (reminds me very much of C.S. Lewis book The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe... neat dream...

I'm not getting a confirmation about my account in my e-mail, so I'll just guest post.
So this lion saw the fear, and knew what you were thinking, and he confirmed he would eat you!? Must have been frightening, but like most nightmares, it sounds funny in reality.
