A familiar freaky face in New York night life, Roy Dank has been playing in and around the city for the past eight years. Connecting the dots between oddball disco, punk funk, 80s oddities, deep house, jerky techno, dub reggae and even industrial, Roy likes to play music that you won't normally get a chance to hear, let alone make you sweaty and wildin out on the dancefloor. In 2003, he launched the Pop Your Funk monthly with friend and respected DJ/Producer Brennan Green, and since its inception, the boys have had played alongside Andrew Weatherall, Maurice Fulton, Chicken Lips, Joakim, Sal Principato from Liquid Liquid, Lindstrøm & Prins Thomas, and John Selway, amongst others.
