PARIS REVIEW EVENT talk & book signing for "The Paris Review Interviews, vol. 1" Thursday, November 16 at 7:00 pm
For more than a half century, The Paris Review has been publishing what can be called indispensable reading - nowhere more apparent than in the magazine’s interviews with writers. "The Paris Review Interviews, vol. 1" collects some of the best with the likes of Hemingway, Borges, Capote, Vonnegut, Didion and others. Join us for an evening with the journal’s current editor, Philip Gourevitch, as he is interviewed by San Francisco Chronicle Book Review Editor Oscar Villalon.
Philip Gourevitch is the editor of The Paris Review, a staff writer for The New Yorker, and the author of "A Cold Case" and "We Wish to Inform You That Tomorrow We Will Be Killed with Our Families: Stories from Rwanda," winner of the National Book Critics Circle Award.
