Richie Unterberger’s remarkable new book, "The Unreleased Beatles: Music and Film," details the incredible wealth of music that the legendary band recorded but never released such as studio outtakes, concert performances, fan club recordings, and informal demos. Longtime Booksmith customer Richie Unterberger is one of today’s most prolific and respected writers on 20th century popular music. He is the author of a two-volume history of folk-rock, as well as two earlier books on little known legends of rock ‘n roll. Unterberger has written numerous CD linear notes, is a senior editor for the All Music Guide, co-editor of the "All Music Guide to Rock," and author of "The Rough Guide to Music USA."
