San Francisco, CA – San Francisco’s popular Cal-Italia Wine & Food Tasting in it’s newest incarnation, will move to Washington Square Park in The City’s historic and world renowned North Beach district as an integral addition to the 136th Italian Heritage Parade and Festival. Food and wine lovers alike will marvel at the opportunity to taste California produced Italian varietals while sampling tasty morsels from Bay Area food purveyors. In addition, well-known local restaurants will offer their innovative dishes, including Rose Pistola, The Stinking Rose, Buca Giovanni, Pasta Pomodoro and more. This celebration of “la dolce vita” takes place in Washington Square Park in the heart of North Beach, Saturday, October 9 from 2pm-6pm (open to the trade at 12 Noon).
