REGGAE IN THE PARK 14th Annual benefit for Global Exchange OCTOBER 4 & 5
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (September 8, 2003) -- REGGAE IN THE PARK, the Bay Area’s largest two day festival celebrating reggae and world music, takes place in Sharon Meadow, Golden Gate Park October 4 & 5, from 11AM-6PM. Reggae in the Park features super stars STEEL PULSE plus a red hot lineup of reggae and world music acts including SIZZLA, LUCKY DUBE, BARRINGTON LEVY, PREZIDENT BROWN and more (see schedule.) REGGAE IN THE PARK celebrates diverse cultures through music, art, beverages and cuisine with a variety of mouthwatering ethnic foods, island drinks and colorful, native arts & crafts from Africa, South America, Mexico, Tibet and India. Advance only ticket prices are $20 per day, $35 for a two-day adult pass and $17.50 for a two-day junior pass. On site tickets are $25 per day, (ages 6-12 are $10 and children 5 and under are free). REGGAE IN THE PARK is the largest annual benefit for Global Exchange, a San Francisco-based international human rights organization dedicated to promoting environmental, political, and social justice around the world.
