WU-TANG CLAN'S THE RZA EXPLAINS IT ALL TO YOU

INFORUM
Robert F. Diggs, known as The RZA, is the founder of the Wu-Tang Clan, one of hip-hop's most influential and unorthodox groups. The Wu-Tang Manual, written by The RZA, is equal parts travelogue, manifesto, dictionary and cultural decoder ring for the Clan, whose mythology includes kung-fu movies, Mafia lore, chess strategies, Eastern philosophies, apiary science and the public housing culture of the Clan's home borough, Staten Island. The RZA, who also composed the music for the feature films Kill Bill and Unleashed and who counts Quentin Tarantino and Jim Jarmusch as close friends and acting mentors, will be our featured guest, in discussion with Club Literary Director Barbara Lane. It's a rare appearance by an individual who has had numerous public personas, each one authentic and fascinating. Reserve early, as this program is sure to sell out!
