LARKSPUR LANDING, CA -- Kid’s Day at the Landing, a benefit for Marin Advocates for Children (MAC), is all about kids and the things kids love to do. On Saturday, June 19, from 11am-4pm, kids of all ages will have a vast array of fun and entertaining choices…pick from carnival games, rock climbing walls, a giant slide, a Sponge Bob Bounce House or a Disney Princess Bounce House, the Jurassic Park interactive inflatable, Benny & Beebe’s magic show and face painting and Desert Dave’s Reptile Pals. Radio Disney’s Freestyle Franco will be on hand with special games and prizes, kids can spin for ice cream treats from Ben & Jerry’s, or gobble up popcorn, snow cones, cotton candy, hot dogs, hamburgers and more. The event is FREE and there is ample free parking at Larkspur Landing. For more information about this event please call Marin Advocates for Children at 415-507-0179 or visit the website at www.marinadvocates.org. While the kids lose themselves in non-stop fun and games, parents can enjoy some of the more adult attractions. Tour a selection of classic cars and ogle the newest models from Jaguar and others. Savor the delicious foods from Marin Brewing Company, and E&O Trading Company and enjoy the live music of The Sun Kings, with their huge selection of Beatles tunes, and the jam-rock, Latin and blues sounds of Key Lime Pie. Feeling lucky? Take a chance on the hottest car on the road…a 2004 Mini Cooper from MINI of San Francisco. Only 400 tickets at $100 each will be sold, so the odds are in your favor. Or, sign up for the Getaway Raffle and a chance for a trip to Hawaii, including airfare and a six-day hotel stay or 5 days in Mexico, among other valuable prizes. There are more prizes available with the Go For It Raffle, including Giants baseball tickets, shopping sprees and gift certificates.
