 3 For All

Think of it as The Most Dangerous Theatre in the World – three men on a stage with no script, no set and no rules. It’s 3 For All, the acclaimed Bay Area improvisation ensemble, in a return engagement to 142 Throckmorton Theatre on Father’s Day weekend, June 17 and June 18 at 8 pm and a Father’s Day matinee on Sunday, June 19 at 5 pm. Tickets are $20 General Admission and $15 for students and seniors. Tickets are available through the 142 Throckmorton Theatre box office at 415-383-9600 or online at www.142ThrockmortonTheatre.com

The edgy Bay Area trio – Rafe Chase, Stephen Kearin and Tim Orr -- will create a new full-length show every night at 142 Throckmorton, with a different plot…and absolutely nothing planned in advance. The show’s first half features improvised short scenes, most of which will be based on audience suggestions. The second half of the show is a full-length movie, based entirely on a title taken from the audience. Says co-producer Glen Eastman, “It’s as close to Acapulco cliff-diving as comedy can get.”

The 3 For All’s distinctive brand of high-stakes storytelling has generated critical raves throughout the Bay Area. “It’s all about being in the moment,” says Chase. “It takes everything you know, every bit of theatre craft you’ve learned and everything your brain can do. That’s what makes it so exciting.”

142 Throckmorton Theatre, located in downtown Mill Valley, provides a professional showplace for international, national and local talent as well as school programs and exhibits. 142 Throckmorton’s mission is to provide a vibrant, active venue for the arts, and to foster a sense of community by bringing together a diverse cross-section of performers and audiences
