The agenda: techno, microhouse, and electro, the likes of which you can’t hear anywhere else in SF. Minimal, crunchy, slinky, never less than dead funky.
The guests: Proptronix artists Hatatomic will be making big sounds with little grey boxes for your pleasure. Expect Proptronix label boss Safety Scissors put the needle on a record or two, too.
The agents: The Fresh Blend is the mastermind behind IRIS. Philip Sherburne, AKA Picadub AKA Some Hack, you know from his scribings for The Wire, XLR8R, and SF Weekly.
The space: Rx Gallery, the lounge the city has been waiting for. With low tables, intimate sound, and revolving artworks and installations, it’s not your average bar. 132 Eddy Street @ Mason, San Francisco
