Ever wanted to fall down the rabbit hole? The lines of seeing and believing will be blurred more than ever when the National Black Light Theatre of Prague transform the Marin Center stage into a world of magic and make-believe in their premier and exclusive Bay Area performance Saturday, March 26 at 3pm. Gaze in awe at the troop’s newest production Fantasy Travellers, loosely inspired by Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland and by Jonathan Swift’s Gulliver’s Travels. Using the aid of large-scale projections, black-light theatre animation, computer tricks, and lighting effects, actors are able to take storytelling to new heights of imagination. Fly, shrink, and disappear with Alice or travel alongside Gulliver as he visits far off continents and encounters new creatures. Dancing octopuses, singing flowers, and live chess pieces will make for an afternoon adventure perfect for the entire family. The performance will take place at the Marin Veterans’ Memorial Auditorium, Avenue of the Flags at Civic Center Drive in San Rafael. Tickets are $32 and 28; (students 18 & under $18).
