Hollywood novelist WESLEY STRICK reading & book signing for "Out There in the Dark " Tuesday, February 28th at 7 pm
As a screenwriter for two decades, Wesley Strick has witnessed firsthand the innermost workings of Hollywood. His insider perspective, as well as his fascination with the history of the city, led him to write a dark and suspenseful novel set in 1940s Los Angeles, "Out There in the Dark." "Wesley Strick knows whereof he writes, and the result is a deep, riveting journey through the glitzy hell where dreams come to be born and die." - Jerry Stahl.
Wesley Strick began writing screenplays in the mid-eighties. His debut Hollywood film was the critically acclaimed courtroom drama "True Believer," starring James Woods and Robert Downey, Jr. Among numerous subsequent movies, Strick wrote "Cape Fear" for Martin Scorsese and co-write "Wolf" (with novelist Jim Harrison) for Mike Nichols. His most recent film is the sci-fi thriller "Doom", which opened at #1 in October.
