The California Film Institute will again host OSCAR NIGHT® AMERICA, the ONLY official Bay Area Academy Awards® event. Black Tie, Blue Jeans, Red Carpet is the perfectly elegant, and casual way to celebrate the 77th Annual Academy Awards®, as film buffs watch the telecast in the comfort of a great seat in our theatre, in the Auction Lounge or on the multiple monitors set up in the theater lobby. A gourmet dinner by CaterMarin and sweets by Galaxy Desserts can be enjoyed at tables set up in the lobby area or boxed and brought in to the theaters. There will be a Hollywood style cocktail lounge set up in the adjacent café and wine bars throughout the theaters. Guests will receive an ‘official’ Academy Awards® Show Program, provided by the Academy. The evening will also include a silent auction, raffle and the “Predict the Winners” contest.
Bronze patron tickets are $100 for general seating and $150 for reserved seating, for groups of 10 or more.
Gold Patron seating at $250 includes a center seat, specialty gift-bag and Max Mara pre-reception. Proceeds benefit California Film Institute Outreach, a complimentary program that brings films and filmmakers to Bay Area students. California Film Institute Outreach annually serves over 4,000 students at 200 schools.
