MICHELLE TEA reading & booksigning for Rose of No Man’s Land Wednesday, February 21 at 7:00 pm at The Booksmith (1644 Haight Street in San Francisco)
Rose of No Man’s Land is the first novel from the popular San Francisco writer Michelle Tea. It is, in the words of reviewers, “raw, funny, and tragic” (Entertainment Weekly), “delivered in a street-smart literary voice that growls and purrs” (New York Times Book Review), and “compellingly honest and told with a voice so pure that it would be ignominious to overlook it” (San Francisco Chronicle).
Michelle Tea lives in San Francisco and is the author of such local bestsellers as the graphic novel Rent Girl (2005), the award-winning Valencia (2001), about San Francisco prostitution, and The Beautiful (2003), a collection of poetry.
