The Peking Acrobats, a troupe of 26 of The People’s Republic of China’s most gifted tumblers, contortionists, jugglers, gymnasts and musicians returns to Marin Center, for an exclusive Bay Area appearnce, on Saturday, January 17 at 8pm. The extraordinary performance almost takes on the excitement and pageantry of a Chinese carnival, with live musicians playing traditional Chinese instruments to heighten the festive atmosphere surrounding these world-renowned performers. The acrobats engage in a number of daring maneuvers atop a precarious pagoda of chairs, precision tumbling and displays of unbelievable flexibility, among other startling feats. The Peking Acrobats will appear at the Marin Veterans’ Memorial Auditorium, Avenue of the Flags at Civic Center Drive in San Rafael.
