"I Got You Babe" by Land of Giants from Cannibal Dolls/Seven Men
Unreleased Sonny and Cher cover from Canadian synth outfit Land of Giants. This demo was recorded in 1983 and scrapped when talks with a major label "ended abruptly". Find it on the newly reissued Cannibal Dolls/Seven Men CD that the band released last month.

a song about the holland tunnel that goes from new jersey to new york. classic and historical! back when the fare was 2 bucks.
XeX were a 5 piece from new jersey who went to livingston college, where my old radio station was. their long lost album was reissued in 2004 by tssr record and quickly went out of print. my friend found me a copy for 2 bucks at amoeba in sf. every song is simple and catchy. rest of the album is HERE

"Mouth to Mouth" by The Glove from Blue Sunshine (Remastered)
Here's a response to Josher Chimney's earlier post. The Glove were such a pivotal part of my high school day car ride soundtracks... at one point i owned a blue 'Glove' tshirt i bought at some skate shop in nyc. '
'Mouth 'to Mouth' is the b-side to Glove's only 12" 'Like an Animal' from 1983. Robert Smith and Steve Severin from Siouxsie and the Banshees recorded 15 songs in 10 days with Jeanette Landray, girlfriend of the Banshees drummer Budgie, who had never sung before. In 2006 Rhino Records reissued the 'Blue Sunshine' LP with a whole bonus disc of Robert Smith's original voice demos! I prefer the original Landray Vocal Mix and spun it out a few weeks ago at my new party Radio Lines in San Francisco. Enjoy!
