They're playing SF in June at Bimbos! Not sure about that choice of venue. The sound is great if you pick the right spot but it's not going to handle the kind of crowd Junip will attract. I guess it would be wise to snag some tickets way early. They're also playing the Rio in Santa Cruz. On the fence which tickets to get . . .

Wishful thinking. Their last release was Yearbook 2 in 2008 and it was all remixes. Their last release of their own material was in 2007. Rasmus Hägg has been working with El Perro Del Mar and Dan Lissvik has been doing technical stuff with The Mary Onettes. Marionettes? I would love to hear some new material from Studio, too. Not sure what happened there. They seemed to have it going . . .
