thanks for the feedback guys. akai is a the me20a midi arpeggiator. all the parts were generated with that - to give it a randomness factor. it does some cool stuff, but it's achillies heel is that it doesn't sync tempo, just a knob on the front. so i had to do tap tempo on the mpc and then record the midi into that. yeah, i guess i didn't mention, mpc1k is sequencing it all... |

thanks guys. well, you have to line up about 15 of them and then i have this midi-to-duck-poker converter... just kidding. reallly i just hit the "ducks quacking rhythmically" preset.
btw just realized the lo-fi-ness was because mix is mono. doh |
