Quadrakey are the epitome of a quality production duo working in harmony out of their humble Berlin studio. The married couple have been Djing together since 2007, and in 2015 they decided to launch Tooman Records. As competent DJ's and discerning selectors they elegantly and effortlessly blend many shades of sound. On the week of their new release - Flowers 4 You- out on their home label Tooman Records, we ask them to talk us through five albums that have touched their soul.

Glenn Underground - Atmosfear
This masterpiece album by Glenn Underground was released in 1996 and set the standard for sophisticated dance music , opened us the door to the amazing and colorful world of House Music, for which we will always be grateful!
Erykah Badu - Baduizm
Erykah Badu's "Baduizm" introduced us with Soul music and her ability to combine R&B, Jazz, Soul and Hip-Hop has always fascinated us! We still get goosebumps listening to this beautiful album.
Mobb Deep - The Infamous
"The Infamous" showcases Mobb Deep's raw style, intense storytelling, and atmospheric production. After almost 30 years the album is still up to date showing us that true music will never die.
Nightmares on Wax - Carboot Soul
The album incorporates elements of jazz, funk, and soul and presents a chilled-out and atmospheric sound, characterized by smooth grooves, warm melodies, and a laid-back vibe – everything that we really like is collected in one album. It's just a masterpiece!
Radiohead – Kid A
"Kid A" by Radiohead, an influential album, captivated us with its innovative blend of electronic and rock elements. We really love this one also because it showed us that musicians should never stuck on their old so called „working- sound and always go forward, even if you are not understand by anyone at the moment.
