Hi Justnique, How're you today? Whats happening in your world at the moment?

I am fine thank you! I'm working on many new projects, some of which are very different from each other. I'm trying to find my identity in everything I create

You're about to release your first EP on Apparel Music... What was it that attracted you to the label and how did the release come about?

Apparel is a musical reality with a solid narrative behind each of its projects. A composition has its own story and Apparel wants to discover all its pages, creating a strong bond with the artist.

I was lucky enough to receive immediate feedback on my demos and, the fact that they liked all the tracks, made me very proud of my work

Where was the EP made? Can you expand on some of the notable gear/plugins you used on this?

The EP was produced at the studio I own called "More Music Lab". I used, obviously, the Juno 106 which in my opinion has an extremely original and characteristic tone. In the EP there are also other synthesizers such as the Moog Sub37 and the Nord Lead A1 and, furthermore, I used instruments such as electric bass and my voice

For the mixing phase I really like to use UAD plugins

As a producer, what message do you hope to convey through your music? What themes or ideas do you find yourself returning to again and again in your work?

This is actually a very interesting question. In my life I have composed many different things which, therefore, always carried a different message. Music is made up of many elements such as harmony, space, rhythm, melodies and form and through these elements I can communicate an emotional state, a poetic narrative, a particular timbral research or an intention made from logical conjectures that they are distant from every sensitive aspect. Currently I hope that listening to my songs people simply have fun just like I have fun in the studio when I produce

The style of the EP takes on a classic deep house sound, which other artists inspire your work? Could you give us 3 top inspirations?

Andrès, Fouk & Cody Currie

Whats next for you after your Apparel EP? Can you tell us about any upcoming projects or collaborations you have in the works? Are there any new directions or sounds you're exploring in your music right now?

I have another EP submitted and approved by Apparel itself. I have some projects coming up in these months, but I prefer not to give spoilers and let you discover them later!

In some I preferred to abandon sampling, dedicating myself to the use of instruments and focusing a lot on Jazz harmonies.

Hows life In Milan? Can you give us your top 3 tips of things to do

An ideal day of mine in Milan is made up of:

• Visit to the MUDEC museum

• Aperitif at the Bonatical Club, right in front of the museum.

• Dinner at the "Trattoria del Nuovo Macello" where you can enjoy one of the best risottos in Milan

Give us some other Italian producers we should be listening to right now.

Sofa talk, XL regular and KISK

Finally, Which are the three records that you've been putting in your bag recently without hesitating?

These are my bangers to rock the dance floor
