Everyone Back to Mine Playlist

Bustin' Loose Bustin’ Loose is London lad Tom Lilly, who has created the phenomenon that is The Disco Express. Party, label, and dancefloor feeling, TDE has played host to many starry headliners, with the label going since 2020, it celebrated its 50th release last year. We ask Bustin’ Loose to take us back to his after the party for a chill down. The lights are low, the mood is chill, and the shoes are off! This is his playlist.

Fred Wesley - House Party

Keys in the door, your mates babbling drunk behind you. You get in, shoes off, stereo on; crank volume to 11. Start how you mean to continue with the perfect after-party starter.

Enzo Avitabile - Napoli Dance

Italian funk with character and charm. No sleeping, just boogie with the brass!

Quincy Jones - The Dude

Infectiously groovy. Cannot help but grin when that chorus hits.

Jay Electronica - Exhibit C

Huge beat and ludicrously good lyrics. A staple track of our after parties.

Sylvia - Sho Nuff Boogie

From modern hip hop to the 'God-mother of hip hop'. Sylvia Robinson's smooth, dulcet tones on Sho Nuff Boogie are perfect for after-hours chillin’.

Masayoshi Takanaka - I Remember You

An incredible disco ballad from 1970’s Japan. As an owner of this album I feel incredibly lucky! Classy guitars, scintillating strings and good vibes all round.

Leon Thomas - China Doll

I’m a huge fan of 70’s soul music and for me Leon Thomas’ China Doll just hits the spot. No surprise his music has been sampled by many of the greats.. Jurassic 5, Soulwax, Brand Nubian House of Pain and many more..

Yussef Dayes - Tidal Wave (Live From Malibu)

Been rinsing this recently. An awe-inspiring live recording by The Yussef Dayes Experience. The full performance is brilliant, its more mellow than the rest of my selections, but it’s ideal for when things are winding down and the sun is coming up.

Evan’s Pyramid - Never Gonna Leave You

A rare and unique disco track packed with so much soul. Soon as I heard this I knew it’d become one of my favourites.

Willie Hutch - What You Gonna Do After The Party

Hands down one of my top 10 most-loved songs of all time. Willie Hutch is a unsung hero of US funk, soul and disco. He’s a true genius, a perfectionist who stands up there with the very best to do it. If this song doesn’t make you want to fall in love, nothing will.
